Software Modules
Cobra Book In
Book In is designed to alleviate the unproductive task of double entry.
When a resident is booked into a facility, the resident's identification information
must be entered into a Jail Management System (JMS) and Banker. Book In accepts
a text file from the facility's JMS and processes the information into Banker.
Not only does Book In process new account information, it can also close
accounts, reopen accounts, process housing location changes and more. Book In is
available in several versions because we design it to work the way you do. The
version for you will depend on your facility's needs.
Cobra
Collector
Collector is designed for clients who want to
attempt to collect receivable debt from residents who
have been released from the facility. Collector
works in conjunction with Banker to allow a facility
to process receivable payments, print current receivable
statements and even update resident addresses for accounts
that have been closed with debt.
 Cobra
Courier
Courier integrates with the Evercom phone system
to allow residents to place phone calls that are charged
to and collected from their Banker commissary account.
The system limits the length of the call based on the
resident's commissary balance. Resident's may also place
commissary orders through the phone system that are
processed based the order day for their housing location.
 Cobra
Exporter
Exporter is designed for clients who only use
Banker's Commissary module to process commissary orders.
Exporter accepts an ASCII file containing resident
booking numbers and commissary balances from the facility's
JMS. The file is processed into Banker and commissary
orders are placed. Exporter then creates and ASCII
file to be sent back to the facility's JMS containing
the resulting commissary charges.
Exporter is also used to ease the torment often
associated with software conversions. Exporter
accepts an ASCII file from the facility's old commissary
system and loads the information into Banker. The file
typically contains the resident's booking number, identification
information, commissary balance and housing location.

Cobra
Qwick POSt
Qwick POSt (Point Of Sale) is a commissary order
entry system designed to use a hand scanner, similar
to the scanners used in convenience stores. This makes
the task of processing orders "qwick" and
simple. Orders are processed with less chance of error
because items are scanned using the item's UPC bar code
instead of being hand-keyed by a user. It also has the
ability to establish a paper bar code for products that
may not have a UPC Bar Code, such as a single pen or
pencil, legal pad or an envelope. The hardware necessary
to produce bar codes is optional and sold separately.

Cobra
Store Clerk
Store Clerk is an inventory management system
designed to provide a facility with the means of ordering
and receiving inventory. Store Clerk also makes
entering inventory count a snap and produces valuable
reports that assist in the management and auditing of
inventory.

Cobra
Validator
With the growing number of check fraud schemes today,
Validator is a must for every facility. Validator
is designed to assist our clients in eliminating check
fraud occurrences. This simple but powerful tool creates
a text file containing check information transacted
on a specified date. You then send the file to your
financial institution to be queried when a check is
presented for payment. Your Validator will be
written to meet your facility's needs as well as those
of your financial institution.

Telelink
TeleLink is a must have tool that works with a facility’s Resident Phone Provider (RPP) to manage resident phone time purchases and the payment of RPP invoices through Cobra Banker. Everything can be handled systematically through Cobra Banker. Phone time purchases can be hand-keyed through Cobra Banker’s Commissary-Order, Cobra Kiosk’s Order Commissary or scanned through Commissary-Process Scanned Menus. TeleLink even systematically handles the crediting of unused phone time to a resident’s commissary balance when the resident is released from the facility.
